Raspadskaya IFRS net profit rises 34% to $225 mln in Jan–Jun
MOSCOW, Aug 24 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian coal producer Raspadskaya rose 34% on the year to U.S. $225 million in January–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a report on Friday.
Revenue went up 23% on the year to $542 million in the period, and gross profit grew 27% to $306 million.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), increased by 29% to $303 million, with the EBITDA margin rising to 55.9% from 53.5%.
